Head poised, she hovers

What a perfect blue sky! We live on Cape Cod, so there isn't enough sun and clear skies as I would like.

How lovely. I adore watching the brown pelicans too. They always seem so at ease.
Happy Blue Monday :-)
I really love pelicans. They will forever remind me of Louisiana. We see white ones in migration through Florida, and they always fascinate me because they will land on inland lakes and fish. Normally, I associate them with the ocean or the Gulf.
Thanks for sharing the birds and the lovely poem.
Happy Blue Monday...

I like the poem and the illustration. Thanks for sharing. Happy Blue Monday.
that looks awesome
The sky is so clear and blue. It just emphasizes more these birds. Nice shot!

What a great shot. And how did you get those birdies to line up like that? ;D
This has me thinking about painting a pelican ^^
