While sitting here watching Dolly's approach, I decided to show you a little of what's new at Beachcomber's Cove. (before we get wet) In the shop are several new items, including a Christmas in July section with many items perfect for Christmas giving.
Here's their story. Jack and Shorty have moved to a cat free, parrot friendly safe home in Corpus Christi, TX. At their farewell bash, Jack may have accidentally gotten into the wrong herb in the catnip cat workshop. As the Jimi Hendrix Smash Hits disc whirled and Shorty danced with the guests upstairs, Jack produced a couple of psychedelic catnip cats as a last hurrah. He even named them which is a no no in the catnip cat workshop. Peter and Maxxine, fortunately he didn't tell Shorty this. Even though we suspect Jack may have been impaired, the catnip cats he created are of the same quality as the "normal" catnip cats. Jack is always a fastidious worker.
It seems that Jack and Shorty have fallen in with a flock of party animals in Corpus Christi. As you can see from shot 2 Jack and Shorty went for a cruise with a Robot ( see Tofunutloaf.etsy.comcool shop here on etsy) and a bird named Peep(for incredible tropical delights check outBeachcomberscove.etsy.com right here on etsy. She is a member of the catnip parrots safe home underground and the photographer of this scene). This is what Beachcomberscove had to say about the day: "Well, I don't know what to say about these guys. They're feeling pretty comfortable here. While I was out working to pay for parrot food, Peep took the whole crowd out sailing in Corpus Christi Bay. Her boat is pretty small, so she rode on Shorty's head, but no one got seasick, and they were all hungry when I got home."
Beachcombers Cove and the young beachcomber artist Devan are also found at Cafe Press. Click on our names to see the shops or on any picture to see the item in our shops. They're bright, colorful and fun. Thanks for looking!
