Judy is a 120-lb Loggerhead sea turtle who was stranded September 17, 2008 on Padre Island National Seashore and was being rehabilitated at the ARK in Port Aransas, TX. She was fitted with the satellite tag and released on Mustang Island. The satellite tag will allow us to track her future journeys for up to 450 days and then it will fall off.
Its showtime at the Nuevo Cafe in Corpus Christi, Texas. This month's artists are Norma Gafford, Vasu Mistry, and Glenn Krum. Don't miss the show or the Poblano soup!
First Friday at the Art Center for the Islands in Port Aransas, Texas. Great art, food, & music. Visitors vote for their favorites. Winners get in a group merit show.
