Devan & Peep Go to Art Camp

Devan and Peep went to the Art Center for the Islands Spring Break Art Camp. Ten happy young artists spent the week learning about and creating art. The week ended with an Art Show for the parents. A great time was had by all, especially Peep.

I just can't help but love beach glass. Every piece is different and there's such a mystery about it. Where did it come from?
What did it used to be? What does it want to become? Wandering my cove looking or new pieces is so peaceful and relaxing.

Beachcomber Fishing Lures, for the discriminating fish. This one is made with a hand made lampwork fish bead and feathers from my parrot Jambo. (he didn't mind) Available in Beachcombers Cove Etsy Shop. They've been tested & really do catch fish.

Thoughts from Lampwork Glass Artist Sandra Lindeman:

I grew up in the Corpus Christi area. For 13 years I wandered but came back to the area to raise a family. For 25 years I had a life as an educator, and another as an artist. The past several years, my artist's passion has been creating lampwork beads and the jewelry they become. "Dancing with an angel" is the best way to describe the lampwork experience. My creations are truly unique and are "Not Your Grandma's Beads" for sure. The jewelry reflects the joy I receive from the imperfect earthly elements in our perfect nature.
